Ingredients:

    • 200g dark chocolate
    • 200g unsalted butter
    • 250g ground hazelnuts
    • 200g caster sugar
    • 5 large eggs
    • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
    • 1 Tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions:

    1. Melt dark chocolate and butter together in a pan over low heat.
    2. Mix ground hazelnuts with caster sugar.
    3. Separate egg whites from yolks. Whip the whites until they form soft peaks.
    4. Mix yolks with the hazelnut-sugar mixture.
    5. Combine the chocolate mixture with the hazelnut mixture and fold in whites.
    6. Pour batter in a greased cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 60 minutes.
    7. Let cool, dust with cocoa powder and powdered sugar before serving.
