Ingredients:

    • Chickpeas: 2 cups
    • Bhature flour: 3 cups
    • Chopped onion and tomatoes: 1 cup each
    • Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
    • Spices (Cumin, Turmeric, Red Chilli, Coriander, Garam masala): 1 tablespoon each
    • Fresh coriander leaves: 1 bunch

Instructions:

    1. Soak and cook chickpeas until soft.
    2. In a pan, sauté onions till golden brown then add the ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes, cooking until pulpy.
    3. Mix in the spices and add the cooked chickpeas. Simmer until flavors are well incorporated.
    4. Prepare dough with Bhature flour and rest for about half an hour. Divide into balls and roll out into thin, round discs and deep fry.
    5. Serve the piping hot bhatures with the spicy chickpea mix garnished with fresh coriander. Enjoy!
