    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1¾ cups buttermilk

Instructions:

    3. Add the buttermilk gradually until a sticky dough forms.
    4. Shape into a round loaf and place on a baking sheet. Cut a cross on top.
    5. Bake for 40 minutes. The bread should sound hollow when tapped at the bottom.
