Ingredients:
- 250g all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1¾ cups buttermilk
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, soda and salt.
- Add the buttermilk gradually until a sticky dough forms.
- Shape into a round loaf and place on a baking sheet. Cut a cross on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes. The bread should sound hollow when tapped at the bottom.
